Katie Desroches is a school teacher and tutor who has been working with dyslexic students for ten years.  

She was a teacher with Simcoe School for Innovative Education, and is a volunteer tutor with the Barrie Scottish Rite Learning Centre for Dyslexic Children. 

Katie has completed the Tutor Training Program for Orton-Gillingham teaching.

She is certified with the Ontario College of Teachers and received her Bachelor of Education through Nipissing University.

She also holds a Master of Arts in Literatures of Modernity through Ryerson University.
